Project Context

This concept was developed as a sensitive wellness and recovery hospitality proposition for Kfar Aza, with the intention of creating a calm, carefully structured environment that could support restoration, privacy, and long-term resilience. Led by Matthew Roffe, the work focused on how hospitality planning, spatial logic, and guest experience thinking could be applied with restraint and seriousness in a setting where emotional context, community relevance, and operational clarity all mattered equally.

Warm interior space suggesting private accommodation or retreat lodging
Linear landscaped public environment suggesting resilience and outdoor recovery space

Strategic Response

Cornerstone GR approached the project as a hospitality-led framework for recovery and resilience, establishing the concept positioning, guest journey, programme structure, and delivery logic needed to guide future development. The strategic response balanced therapeutic calm with practical hospitality discipline, shaping an environment centred on privacy, gentle routine, supportive shared spaces, and a clear sense of care without institutional language. The result was a concept direction that could inform planning, pre-opening decisions, brand expression, and phased implementation while remaining grounded in dignity, sensitivity, and long-term usefulness.
